IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Monika Marie
Davis
September 15, 1973 – January 4, 2026
Monika Marie Davis, 52, of Bauxite, Arkansas, was called home by the Lord on January 4, 2026. She was born on September 15, 1973, in McComb, Mississippi, to the late Woody Lambert of Jayess, Mississippi, and Eloise Stewart of Monticello, Mississippi.
Monika touched the lives of so many and had a gift for lifting heavy hearts. She loved the outdoors, especially kayaking and fishing. Monika was never afraid to get her hands dirty, and she took pride in showing others how to catch a fish, especially when someone claimed, "Ain't no fish here," or "They ain't biting." She would always prove just how easy it could be.
For several years, Monika worked at the Gas Car, where she built a close-knit community of friendships. She shared a particularly special and inseparable bond with her best friend, Diana Warner, who preceded her in death in April 2025.
Monika had a way of brightening the world around her. You could have a bad day, walk into the store, or even drive by and see her, and she would light up your day and make you smile. She was a rare and special woman with a heart and soul that are hard to find in this world today.
Monika loved deeply and was loved by many. She is now with the angels in Heaven, watching over those she cherished, fishing in places with rods and reels that money can't buy, together again with her BFF, Diana.
This is not a goodbye; it is a "see you later." And always remember: "WE GOT THIS!!!"
Monika was preceded in death by her father, Woody Lambert; her best friend, Diana Warner; and her grandparents.
She is survived by her fiancé, Bert Stuckey of Bauxite, Arkansas; her mother, Eloise Stewart of Monticello, Mississippi; one daughter, Brianna Joiner of Ruth, Mississippi; three sons, Daniel Allgood, Brenden Davis, and Deven Davis, all of Hernando, Mississippi; and her fiancé's sons, Brian Stuckey and Nathan Stuckey. She is also survived by her parents-in-law, Gary Stuckey and Sherry Ward of Arkansas; two granddaughters, Mila Grace Joiner and baby girl Allgood; one grandson, Bryson Barnes; three sisters, Mendy Johnson (Scott) of Jayess, Mississippi, Kelli Lambert of Lafayette, Indiana, and Kari Lambert of Evansville, Wisconsin; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.
