Myra H (Davis) Tackett, 81 of Little Rock transitioned from this life peacefully on September 26th, 2026. Myra was born on June 13th, 1945, to Duke J Davis and Minnie G. Davis. She was the third of seven children. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jerry Don, Linda, Alvin, Wanda, Lonnie Ray, and Calvin.

Over the course of Myra's life, she was married three times. Her first husband, Arthur Stinnett, of Camden was killed in an industrial accident a few years after their marriage. In time, she would remarry Donald Roberts, until his passing. Eventually, she reconnected with her high school sweetheart, Henry "Frog" Tackett Sr. and they were married in 1988 until his death in 2013.

She is survived by her son, Michael Ashley and his husband Joseph Hall. Stepchildren Jimmy Tackett and wife Gail, Henry "Junior" Tackett and stepdaughter Stacy Flannigan, and multiple grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to mention here.

Myra loved simple pleasures in life such as her beloved dogs (Gabby and Gigi), camping, fishing, cookouts, casinos, and time spent with family. Myra spent most of her career working in the food service industry. She served for most of her working career as supervisor of the kitchen at southwest nursing home. She worked up until the last year of her life when she retired from Holy Soul's Catholic school after-school program where she was affectionately known to the staff and kids as simply “Miss Myra". From her early life of serving the elderly, to her later years of working with children, “Miss Myra” leaves behind a legacy of giving. Her memory will be cherished by those whose lives she touched.

Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
