Nanci Lureen (Nee Corie) Barnard, passed away November 7, 2014. She was born December 19, 1949 to Ernest and Joan Corie in Hammond, Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ernest Mitchell Corie; sister-in-law, Janice Barnard.

She is survived by her husband, James; one son, Bryan "Bo" (Lisa); three daughters, April, Krystal, and Jimi; one brother, Tim (Ann) Corie; one sister, Shawna (Marvin) Lamar; six grandchildren, Beth, Zach, Austin, Madi, Katie, and Trevor; one great-grandchild, Madi; fifteen nieces and nephews, Josh, Justin, Jarid, Jasalin, Kate, Anne, Rob, Jim, Michael, David, Krista, Amanda, Jennifer, Carrie, and Teddy; brother-in-laws, Bob (Alex) Barnard, Eddy (Nelda) Barnard, and Teddy Barnard; sister-in-law, Betty (Tom) Timmons; and a host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.

She was a loving and caring wife and mother. She was a mother to so many that were not her own. She went back to school at the age of forty and was very proud of her education. Nanci loved the Lord with all her heart and had a passion for Jesus and wanted all to know him. All those who have met her say she was the sweetest lady. She was very compassionate and made all those who met her feel very welcomed into her life. She was a active member at Centerpoint Church in Benton, AR.

Her visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, November 12, 2014, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. and her celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home.
