Nancy Faye Edwards, age 64 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 2, 2011. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 26, 1947. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Alene Pinkerton and her sister Carylon Holland.
She is survived by her loving husband Clarence Edwards, her children Clint (Michelle) Edwards and her daughter Kayla (Scott) Avants, four grandchildren, Chris Edwards, Drake Edwards, Alexis Avants and Gavin Avants.
She is also survived by her sisters, Shirley Townsend, Sandra Covington, and Joan Ramsey, and a host of family and friends.
She and her husband owned Shannon Hills Christian Pre School and CW Edwards Construction Company. Nancy loved spending time with her family and working with children. She was a member of Christ Church.
A celebration of life will be held for Nancy at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2011 in the chapel of Dial & Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, 501-847-9099.
