Pamela Annette McDonald, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, departed peacefully on September 15th after an arduous battle with multiple myeloma, her daughter and son by her side.
Pam was born in Shreveport, La on December 11th, 1959, to Euda "Deannie" Foster and Frank Mays. As a child and young adult, she lived and made friends in many places, traveling as part of a military family. As an adult, Pam settled in Texarkana for some time, where both of her children were born. In 1990, she moved to Little Rock, where she worked as an upholsterer for a number of years, eventually bringing her skills to a home business until retirement.
Pam will best be remembered for her love of her family and her faith in our Lord and Savior. To her children, she was the strongest person they knew. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter and son in law Genie and Chris Howlett, her son and daughter in law Jason and Renee Harrison, her grandchildren Kendra and Sean Stroud, Brennan and Jaclyn Sherrod, Mitchell Cox, William McAlister, Jaycie Howlett, Sam McAlister, Kenadie Harrison, Emilee Howlett, Lilly Latham, Hayden Harrison and Max Harrison, one great grand, Scarlett Stroud, her mother "Deannie" Foster, her siblings Karen McCorkle, John Michael Mays, Frank "Bubba" Mays and Elizabeth "Cissy" Moseley, her friends at Christ Church, and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father Frank Mays and brother Ronnie Mays.
A memorial celebration of Pam's life will take place on Saturday, September 18th, at 2:00 pm at Christ Church, located at 11800 Vimy Ridge Road, Alexander 72002.
