Paul Edward Oden went to be with Jesus on October 5, 2023, at the age of 71 years old. He was born in Rusk, Texas and resided in Little Rock, Arkansas at the time of his death, after a long battle with lung and heart issues.

Paul is survived by his wife, Letitia Oden; his daughter, Valerie Schaffner and her husband, Steve Schaffner; his daughter, Shawn Mathews; his four grandchildren, Clint Self, Gabriel Sifuentes, Bailey Bobbit and Jaxon Mathews; his great-grandchild, Nixon Self; his five brothers, Luke Oden, Bob Oden, Charlie Oden, Tim Oden, and Danny Oden; his sister, Marjorie Redfearn and many dear friends.

Paul was retired after owning his own pest control business for over 20 years as the "Bug Man". He was a lifetime member of the motorcycle ministry Highways and Hedges, lovingly known as the "Bugman". He enjoyed deer hunting, singing, playing pool and playing his guitars.

Paul will be missed by so many, but we all know he is having some good conversations with Brother Punkin and his brother, David and hugging on his mama, breathing easy.

His celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. with the visitation one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
