A celebration of life will be held at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church on August 29, 2025 beginning at 12:30 PM in Sanders Hall. The family will receive friends at a visitation prior to memorial service at 12:00PM. There will be a family Columbarium niche service at Holy Souls Catholic Church at 2PM.
His personality was one of a kind, there will never be any one like him! He was a friend to all. He would talk to perfect strangers as if he knew them their whole life, often asking how he could pray for them. He was unique, spontaneous, brave, joyful and always on the go! He would make anyone's day brighter and bring laughter to all. He was absolutely an amazing person and we are all better for knowing him.
A favorite saying of his was "do the next right thing" he would remind himself of this often.
His passing is a shock to all that knew him, but not to God! The Bible says, "Man's days are determined; you (God) have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed" (Job 14:5) Knowing this is hard to understand because our human nature wants more times with him, we miss him and now cherish the moments God allowed him to be with us. However, God has promised to be with us during our sorrow; "So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy" (John 16:22)
His love for the Lord was present in his daily life, He has tons of journals of his scripture reading and notes. He would text scripture to friends and family almost daily. He would want any and all that read this to know, there is hope, eternity is freely given to all that believe; For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13
