Philip Ofles Wallace 59, of Bryant, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. He was born on January 17, 1951 to the late Marion and Ardie Mae Wallace in Petit Jean, Arkansas. Philip always referred to his loving wife as his #1; he loved to spoil her and always treated her like a princess. Mr. Wallace loved spending time with his grandchildren. He worked at Wrightsville Department of Correction for 23 years. Philip loved to work in the yard and could grow the most beautiful flowers in his garden. He served in Vietnam as a Military Police Officer. Mr. Wallace was Methodist in faith. Mr. Wallace is preceded in death by his parents; infant brother and a very special nephew, Rocky Wallace. Philip is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Wanda; daughter, Lisa Curtis; four grandchildren, Brad Hardin and his wife, Dixie of Longmont, Colorado, Britni Martinez of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Brigit Martinez of Conway, Arkansas and Ashton Havens of Conway; two great grandchildren, Madison Leigh Hardin of Longmont, Colorado and David Allen Poleston Jr. of Conway, Arkansas; two sisters, Marilyn Caldwell and her husband, Toby of Houston, Arkansas and Bonnie Weaver and her husband, Jack of Houston, Arkansas; one brother, Randy Wallace and his wife, Sherita of Morrilton, Arkansas; his beloved bird, Charlie and many other relatives and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly. The family would like to give thanks to Dr. Brad Baltz and his wonderful staff and to the Nursing staff on 7E at St. Vincent's Hospital for the wonderful care that was given to Philip. Service will be held on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North, Bryant with Rev. John Williams officiating.
