Prentis Ralph Field, Sr., 77 of Benton, died January 24, 2015. He was born January 24, 1937 in Reedsville, West Virginia, to the late Charles Ray and Goldie Field.
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and an appliance repairman. He never met a stranger. He loved children, his family and life.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years; Willie Field, son; Prentis Field Jr., daughters; Toni Bradford, Sheila Dubblin, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three sisters; Betty Reed of Arkansas, Sandy Goodwin of West Virginia, Brenda Cagle of Tennessee, brother; Don Field of West Virginia and a host of family and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 28, 6-8 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
Service on Thursday, January 29, 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Brother Jimmy Batterton will be officiating.
