Private Chad Josef McGehee , 23, of Benton, passed away on December 27, 2008. Chad was born on August 8, 1985 in Monticello, Arkansas. He enjoyed playing baseball and playing his X-Box. Chad loved spending time with his two beautiful daughters and his family. He was an avid artist.

Chad had just recently returned from a tour in Iraq with the 39th Brigade. He was a trained combat engineer and was enrolled in four army schools to further his career with the Arkansas Army National Guard. He was very proud that he was able to serve his country.

Private McGehee is preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles E. Moore Sr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer McGehee; two daughters, Trinity Renee McGehee and Addison Claire McGehee; mother, Mary K. Matthews; father, Raymond Eugene McGehee; brother, Shaun Aaron McGehee; grandmother, Mary Neal Patrick; niece, Chloe Autumn McGehee and a host of family and friends who will all miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North, Bryant 501-847-9099. A celebration of Chad's life will be held on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
