Raymond Cates, aged 77 years, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away on February 24, 2017. He was born to the late, Tom and Opal Cates in Big Flat, Arkansas on February 6, 1940. He was a member of Christ Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Lisa Tully.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Candy Cates; two sons, Tony Cates (Carol), and Tommy Cates; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sister, Betty Vaught and a host of family and friends who love and will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held March 2, 2017 at 10:00 am at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday night from 6-8pm.
