Reat F. Meeks, 87, of Benton, Arkansas went to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, October 15th, 2011.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Viola Meeks; son, Ronald Paul Meeks; four brothers, Preston, Jim, Joe and Cecil Meeks; and four sisters, Margret Meredith, Etta Smith, Clair Predue and Zella Doss.

Reat is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary Meeks; son, Robert Meeks (Masie); four grandchildren, Scott Meeks (Gwen), Jay Meeks, Paula Gwin (Eddie), and Patty Whatley (Todd); three great-grandchildren; one sister, Charlotte Meredith and a host of family, friends, nephews and nieces that will love and miss him dearly.

Graveside service will be Monday, October 17th, 2011, at 10:00 A.M. at New Rosemont Cemetery in Benton, Arkansas.
