Obituary

Renee Roxanne Baribeau Brown, 62, of Bryant Arkansas passed away on July 1, 2023.

"One life on this earth is all that we get, whether it is enough or not enough, and the obvious conclusion would seem to be that at the very least we are fools if we do not live it as fully and bravely and beautifully as we can." – Frederick Buechner

After battling a short and grueling battle with cancer, Renee left this world surrounded by people who loved her unconditionally.  She was born to Donald and Laurietta Violet "Etta" Baribeau on Thursday, September 8th, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Anyone who knew Renee knew she had a personality and smile that would light up any room. Renee had many sources of pride in her life: she loved flowers and had the most beautiful garden that will continue to bloom and share her  legacy. Renee graduated in 1978 from McClellan High School and went on to become a scrub tech for over 40 years and took pride in her work and certainly left her mark on the world. Most importantly, Renee adored raising her daughter and watching her  3 grandchildren learn and grow. Renee and her daughter, Rachael, spent many joyous years together. She will truly be missed.

She is preceded in death by Donald and Laurietta Baribeau (father and mother), Faith Rios (sister), Dean Baribeau (brother), Shannon Baribeau (niece).

She is survived by Mary Jo (Stacy) Watson (sister) of Abilene, Texas, Mickey Baribeau (brother) of Little Rock, AR, Rachael (Barrett) Ward (daughter) of Cabot, AR, Kiri, Kloe, and Griffin Ward (grandchildren) of Cabot, AR

Nieces Brandy (Victor) Ortiz of Benton, AR, Rhianna (Trey) Harberson of Benton, AR, Anna (Chris) Hines of Ft. Worth, TX, Violet (Ash) Griggs of Abilene, TX, Fallon Rios of Orlando, FL, and Ellie Baribeau of Bryant, AR

Nephews Josh Shew of Knoxville, TN, Jacob Shew of Lubbock, TX, Dustin Baribeau of Orlando, FL and Rowdy Baribeau of Bryant, AR

The family would also like to recognize and thank Julie Williams of Little Rock, AR. Julie and Renee were best friends for over 40 years. Julie brought so much joy and comfort to Renee as she battled cancer.
