Obituary
Richard Leon Smith, age 68, of East End died on December 18, 2009.
Mr. Smith was born on January 14, 1941 in Camden, Arkansas to his parents, Grady Smith and Doris Stinnett.
Richard loved to fly airplanes and was a hard worker. He was an iron worker for many years and became a home Builder in his later years.
Richard is survived by his wife, of 51 years, Daisy Mae Smith. He is also survived by his son, Richard Leon Smith, Jr. of East End, brothers; Ralph, Billy and Gary Smith of Poyen, Arkansas and Bobby Smith of Houston, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Peggy Sue Pumphrey
A celebration of Richard's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 in the chapel of Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, 501-847-9099.
