Robert Paul Francis Doran passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the age of 46.  He is preceded in rest by his mother, Deborah Ann Larson Coleman, and his father, Peter James Doran. He is survived by his siblings, Anthony Doran~ wife Hao, Jeffery Coleman~ wife Raven, Joany (née Doran) Phillips~ husband Shane, and Samuel Doran, as well as his nieces and nephews, Tyler and Alexis Coleman, Alora and Zoe Lowry, Isaac and Adrianna Doran.

Paul was born on May 6, 1979, in Grand Forks, North Dakota.  He spent his childhood in Wichita Falls, Texas, before moving to Little Rock, AR, in the winter of 1993.  He earned his high school diploma from Bryant High School in 1997.  He later graduated with honors from both the University of Arkansas- Pulaski Technical College and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.  Paul's passion was cardiac ECHO sonography; however, he was also certified in abdominal and vascular sonography.  As a member of the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, he loved being able to help save lives with his skills as a sonographer.  He spent nearly 3 years traveling the country doing what he loved.  Paul was intelligent and took great pride in his academic accomplishments as well as what they allowed him to do for his community.

Outside of his professional achievements, Paul loved paying attention to song lyrics and quoting them at just the right moment.  One of his favorite things was making funny movie, show, or cartoon references.  He was the master of a clever pun and was always happy to be out there with what he called OC, original content.  He liked to call himself an idea man."  He loved cooking and would frequently spend hours in the kitchen tinkering with recipes to get the flavor just right.  He could help plants thrive with a single snip.  Paul never met a dog that didn't love him.  He was ready with a helping hand anytime he saw a need.  He was loyal and never left the scales unbalanced.  He had a strong sense of justice and helped make the people around him happy.  Paul was fun to be around and was a great son, brother, uncle, and, most importantly, a wonderful friend.

Our Lady of Fatima will have a memorial Mass for Paul on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
