Robert Lloyd Thomas, 87, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on December 26, 2018. He was born to William and Gladys Thomas on July 29, 1931. He loved hunting and being in the outdoors. He enjoyed digging for fossils. He loved spending time with his family. He proudly served in the military at the 38 ^th parallel in Korea. He was a long life member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene.

He was preceded in death by his parents, nine siblings, and one great grandchild that was born into the arms of Jesus.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Guyva Thomas; son, Robert "Rob" Thomas (Carla) of Alexander and Scott Thomas (Brenda) of Paron; daughter, Vicki Sharp of Benton and Tami Friemel (David) of Salem; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who love and miss him dearly.

Pallbearers will be Kane Robinson, Kaleb Wise, Kyle Wise, Jacob Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Jake Dane, Perry Wyse, and Ryan Abels.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 2-4 P.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.

The celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Calvary Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Rodney Shanner and Rev. Harley Patterson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Calvary Building Fund.
