Robert Torres of Benton went to be with the Lord on December 8,2020.  He was 80 years old.  He loved the lord and would drive many miles and would spend many hours just to witness to someone.

He was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the United States to live when he was 16 years old.  He was extremely proud that he became a United States citizen on December 6, 1980.

He was also known for his honesty and laughter.

He is preceded in death by his father Roberto Torres, Mother Paulina Prendes Torres, wife Marga "Jean" Torres and daughter Nina Golden.

He is survived by his siblings Nancy Vazquez, Elena Dorsey, Hector Torres, Walter Torres, and Eddy Quintela. Children Nona Osburn (Ken), Rhoda Glenn (Gene), Dede Young (Kenneth), Juanita Coan (Ed), Quentin "Bubba" Parker (Della), Hershal Parker (Naomi), Patty Griggs (Gary), and Russell Wheeler. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and cousins.
