Ronald "Ronnie" Allen Wilhite, 63, of Royal, Arkansas was born to the late William Wilhite and Wanda (Smith) Johnston, on Thursday, March 1st, 1962, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He left this world too soon on Sunday, July 6th, 2025, leaving behind his greatest accomplishment—his family.
He is joined in eternal rest with his siblings, Gary Stowers , Michael Wilhite, Don Allen Wilhite, and Patty Wilhite; his father, William Wilhite; mother, Wanda (Smith) Johnston; along with his extended parents, Howard and Alta Aaron.
Ronnie was a very loved and accomplished man who provided for his family and was determined and hardworking. He had been in steel manufacturing and coupling for over 40 years, which lead him to become Plant and Area Manager for US Steel.
Ronnie was a jokester and did his best to make you laugh. He loved interacting and socializing with people, which allowed him to never meet a stranger! If it was with his friends, deer camp and dock buddies, or with his children and grandchildren, you could definitely find Ronnie hunting, fishing, or playing golf right beside them.
Ronnie loved and fully lived LIFE. His life revolved around his huge family and numerous of great friends that he valued above all else. There are many people whose lives have been impacted by Ronnie and will cherish their memories forever.
Left to cherish those memories and his legacy is his loving wife of 35 years, Libby Gill Wilhite; five children, Joshua Madar, Monica Wilhite, Amanda Wilhite, Rhonda Golden (Donnie), and Jade Madar (Brad); twelve grandchildren, Bret Chandler, Hadleigh Ward, Bo Wilhite, Hannah Ward, Addisyn Sweet, Bryleigh Wilhite, Bryson Madar, Hunter Ward, Hayden Ward, Braxton Epperson, Avery Madar, and Hannah Golden; one great grandson, Winston Golden; siblings, Billy Wilhite, Brenda Wooley (Tim), Robert Wilhite (Abby), Cindy Carver (Allen), Melissa Collins; Bo Aaron (Sheila), Sandra Brown (CJ), Gary Aaron (Desiree), Glenda Ashlin (Terry), and Gail Jordan (Kenneth); along with countless of other family and friends who all love him and cannot fathom life without him.
Ronnie's celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 11th, 2025, with his visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. and his service following after at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. George Yarberry officiating, all at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Doug Sweat, James Meadows, Paul Reed, Joey Crow, David Summerville, Joe Henderson, Ricky Noah, and Temple Lacefield. Honorary pallbearers include Bret Chandler, Bo Wilhite, Bryson Madar, Hayden Ward, Hunter Ward, Brad Michael, Donnie Golden, and Bryce Manley.
He will be laid to rest at Woodson Cemetery following his services. Due to the distance, there will be no funeral procession to the cemetery, and we ask everyone who will be attending to meet us there.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
