Rosalynn Elizabeth Myers Carter 67, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 7, 2008. Rosalynn was a member of Christ Church and numerous clubs and organizations. She was always willing to help anyone that had a need and never asked for anything in return. In addition to her love of her family, she was very proud of her accomplishments as a realtor in Wichita Falls, TX.

Rosalynn is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Leonard and Mona Delores Myers; one brother, Paul Myers Jr.; one sister, Mora Kaye Myers and one brother in law, Wes Weems. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Edward Carter; one son, SSG. Edward Carter Jr. and his wife, Manuela; one daughter, Celeste Knight and her husband, Darvin; four grandchildren; Edward III (Trace) Carter, Samuel Carter, Madalyn (Maddy) Knight and Carter Knight; one sister, Phyllis Weems and seven nieces and nephews; Judy Morley, Wes Jr. (Dub) Weems, Mona Peterson, Chyrl Gallagher, Paula Wedryck, Paul III (Trey) Myers and Darla Myers.

A gathering in remembrance will be held on Friday, May 9, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

A celebration of Rosalynn's life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Christ Church 11800 Vimy Ridge Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rosalynn Carter Memorial Fund C/O Simmons First National Bank of Little Rock.
