Sammie Lois Patton 87 of Benton passed away June 6, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born on January 22, 1926 to the late, Charlie and Estelle Noles in Seagraves, Texas. Sammie was an avid reader, loved working in her flower garden, sewing and quilting. She retired from Teletype after 20 years of employment. Sammie was a member of North Bryant Baptist Church for 14 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 59 years, William Earl Patton.
Sammie is survived by her four daughters, April Counts (James), Deborah Radican (Skip), Rebecca Patton and Yvonne Lovell (Richard); her son, Charles Patton (Jeanette); five grandchildren, Jenny, Amy, Laura, Jesse and Lucas; three great grandchildren, Abby, Lizzie and Aidan; two sisters, Louise Cooke and Lillian Hart and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
