Sarah Kilcrease-McGriff-Vardaman, age 80 of Benton passed from this life on July 5, 2014
She was born January 29, 1934 in McGehee, Arkansas to her parents, George and Gertha Vardaman.
One of her greatest pleasures in life came from gardening and tending to her flowers along with spending time with her family. Sarah also had over 30 years of employment with AT&T.
Sarah is survived by her children; Trina Barnes and her husband Randy of Bryant and Tommy Sam Kilcrease, Jr. and wife Andrea of White Hall, along with seven grandchildren; Heath Kilcrease, Derric Kennemer, Gaylon Kilcrease, Nathan Kennemer, Jessica Funk, Lucas Ribens and Kayla Kilcrease. Sisters; Charlene Waldrup-McGehee and Greta Price. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and numerous friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Services for Ms. Vardaman are scheduled for 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church of McGehee in McGehee, Arkansas, with Bro. Ed Valduccia officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, Ar, 501-847-9099. There will be another visitation held at the First Baptist Church of McGehee from 5-7pm on Wednesday night.
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Arkansas Heart Hospital or any charity of choice.
