Seth Daniel McDowell, 22, of Benton, Arkansas was born to, Dennis McDowell and Misty Haeber, on Thursday, October 5th, 2000, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He left this world too soon on Sunday, July 30th, 2023. Seth was an extraordinary young man who had a passion for playing football and all other sports. Seth graduated from Bauxite High School in 2019, where he was a dedicated member of the Bauxite football team. Then he was awarded an academic and football scholarship from Ouachita Baptist University, where he continued his love for football. He was also an integral member of the Beta Beta Men's Club pursuing a degree as a secondary English teacher and had a deep desire to pursue coaching. Seth accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Family Church in Bryant, Arkansas. Seth was a loving uncle, brother, son, and friend who had compassion and love for any and everyone. He was someone who saw the good no matter how bad. He never hesitated to give you a second chance. He was always the calm in the storm. Posthumously, Seth gave five others the gift of life through organ donation.

He is preceded in death by his granddaddy, Daniel Dennis McDowell, and his uncle, Caleb McDowell.

He is survived by his loving parents, Bo McDowell and Misty Haeber; fiancé, Jessalyn Ahrens; one brother, Cade McDowell (Melissa) from Cabot; two sisters, Faith McDowell and Addison Moore; grandmothers, Patsy McDowell "Nana" and Cheryl Hamilton; grandfather, Steve Haeber; along with numerous of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, church family, football colleagues, and random strangers whom he had an effected.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10th, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.

His celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 11th, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Family Church in Bryant with burial services to follow at McDowell Cemetery in Royal, Arkansas (Hot Springs).

To honor Seth and what he would want, the family asks everyone to dress colorful and casual for his services.

Pallbearers include Jacob Smith, Cade McDowell, Eeson Sandage, Caden Pulliam, Kenta Jones, Cole Tuner, Hayden Simpson, Drew Watson, and Gary Storment.
