Shannon Hampton 53, passed away on October 20, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 13, 1966 to the late Richard Curtis and Mildred Hampton. She loved to work and take care of her kids and grandkids.

Shannon is preceded in death by her parents; brother Ricky Hampton; grandmother Lucinda Hampton; Aunt Lillie Mae Mackyeon; grandpa Ernest Johnson; nephew Devin Hampton; niece Lisa Hampton; sister in law, Larisa Hampton; two cousins, Alfreda Smith and Samantha Mackyeon.

She is survived by her stepfather Joe Brannon Sr; her four daughters, Shirley Ann Jefferson, Dimitrelle Hampton, Deshanna Hampton, and Shanice Patterson "Keith"; eight grandchildren, Dontrelle, Michael, Kentrelle, Shanntrelle, Dayshawn, Dalilah, Kei'Veion, and Kei'Leah; one great grandchild on the way; seven siblings; Bruce Hampton, Johnny Hampton "Karen", Anita L. Hampton, Kenneth W. Hampton, Richard Hampton, Betty Hampton-Washington "Bruce", and JoJeanna H. Allen "Gabriel"; uncle, Richard Hampton Sr. "Gwendolyn"; best friend Tanya Richardson; special friend, Lawrence P; and a host of other family and friends who all loved her very much and will miss her dearly.
