Shari Ashcraft Fitchette, 86, of Little Rock, Arkansas was born to the late, Arthur Abernathy Ashcraft and Helen Faye (Nuesch) Ashcraft, on Friday, December 17th, 1937, in Malvern, Arkansas. She was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 17th, 2024, surrounded by love and safely in her bed. Shari graduated from Arkansas Baptist School of Nursing in 1958. Upon completion, she went into the Army Nurse Corp where she practiced nursing in Alabama, Georgia, and Texas. She then retired in 1999, as a registered nurse after 25 years of service from St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. For those who knew her, knew how quiet she could be—until she wasn't. She was very headstrong and determined. She was of Southern Baptist Faith and was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her three children, Michael Fitchett (Robin) of San Diego, California, Kevin Fitchett (Rosemary) of Anchorage, Alaska, and Michelle Hubbard (Mike) of Alexander, Arkansas; she was "Nana" to eight grandchildren, Jason (Jessica), Bryan, Perry, Tracey, and Ray Fitchett, Taylor Travis, Mallory Cabe (Jacob), and Madison Alarcon (Easton); numerous great grandchildren and many other family and friends who all love her and will cherish the memory of her.

There will be a private graveside service.
