Sherry Lynn Eakens 48, passed away on January 22, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born on August 10, 1971 to the late Robert and Cheryl Brown in Indianapolis, Indiana. Sherry enjoyed working with children in her home daycare. She proudly served in the Arkansas National Guard and completed a tour in Iraq. She was also a member of Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Alan Eakens; three children, Brandon Hixon, Dakota Eakens, and Bill Ballard-Eakens; one sister, Terry Morrow; two brothers, Bobby Brown and David Brown; and a host of other family and friends who all loved her dearly and will miss her very much.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Monday February 3, 2020 at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, Arkansas. Graveside service will be at 12:00 PM at The Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
