Shirley Ann Mahar 65 of Haskell went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 21, 2008. Shirley was born on November 25, 1942 to the late Hershel and Ethel Bennett in Little Rock, Arkansas. Shirley's greatest joy in life was being the caretaker for her three great grandchildren, she loved spending her days coloring and playing with them. She also loved gardening and watching birds. She was Assembly of God in faith.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Smith (Hank); her son, Charlie "Chuck" Mahar (Barbara); one grand daughter, Lesley Kelly (Michael); two-step grand children, Brandon and Karina Ferrera; three great grand children, Preston Sricklin, Ashlynn Kelly and Tyler Kelly.
