Steven McKinley Jones, 71, of Mabelvale, Arkansas was  born to the late, Jesse Burton Jones and Burma (Brents) Jones, on Sunday, February 8th, 1953, in Morrilton, Arkansas. He left this world with a very fulfilled life on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024, surrounded by love.

Steve loved the outdoors, whether it was hunting or fishing. He was even meticulous about his yard and home; making sure everything look perfect brought him joy and a warm sense of safety.

Sunday drives. They were his favorite. He would just drive all over the state just soaking in the beauty.

Above all else, he loved talking about his grandkids and his family. He was so proud of them.

He will be deeply missed by everyone who crossed his path.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 beautiful years, Nancy Sue Jones; his brother and sister, Shelby George and James Jones; and his parents and grandparents.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Teri Berg (John); his son, Steven "Mark" Jones (Amber); four grandkids, Katelynn Dawson, Steven Douglas Berg, Jacob Jones, and Ethan Jones; his sisters, Selma Vines, Sherry Funderburg, and Mary Broach; one brother, Sam Jones; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends who all love him.

His celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. with his visitation the evening prior from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.

He will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
