Steve Marshall Long, 54, of Alexander passed away on May 30, 2011 at his home. Steve was born on February 25, 1957 to Willis and Johnnie Long in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church in Bryant, Arkansas, where he and Alisha met and were married in 1992. Steve was the owner of Sunrise Construction and built the new Sanctuary and theirs was the first official wedding ceremony performed there. He enjoyed racing motorcycles, gardening, wood working and golfing.
Mr. Long is preceded in death by his father, Willis Long and brother, Ronald Long.
He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Alisha Stane Long; mother, Johnnie Long; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Ron Walden; sister-in-law, Rhonda Harris; brother-in-law, Kyle Stane; mother and father-in-law, Jeanie and Bob Sunderman. Plus a host of nieces and nephews and his beloved animals.
A celebration of Steve's life will be held on June 4, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant with Brother Benny Grant officiating.
