Terry Lynn New, age 59, went to be with his Heavenly Father on August 30, 2010, in Benton, Arkansas
Terry was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 6, 1951 to the late George Elsworth and Mary Virginia New. He graduated from Central High School in Little Rock in 1969 and served in the Arkansas Air National Guard from July 1969 thru August of 1975.
Mr. New started Custom Wood Products in 1977 and has been serving the greater Little Rock area for over 33 years, restoring furniture and antiques for what then started out as customers, but very quickly became lifelong friends.
Terry loved the outdoors and most of all, spending time family and friends. He lived his life bravely and was looked up to by many, He will be missed, but his legacy goes on.
Mr. New was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary New.
He leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 41 years Brenda Sue New. Two sons; Brent and Byron, both of Benton, Arkansas, and three granddaughters; Baylee, Gracie and Faith. He is also survived by one brother, Thomas A. New, and his wife Jane of Ferndale, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 11:00 in the chapel of Dial & Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, 501-847-9099.
Visitation will be held from 6-8p.m. on Thursday evening, at the funeral home.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Arkansas Hospice of North Little Rock, 14 Park Stone Circle, North Little Rock, Arkansas, 72116.
