Sergeant Terry Wayne Roach, 50 of Maumelle, Arkansas passed away Saturday, April 8th, 2023, surrounded by loving family and friends. He was born to Beulah Brooks on Tuesday, July 11th, 1972. Due to Beulah's unfortunate passing, he was lovingly adopted in 1978 by Wesley "Delbert" Roach and Shirley (Brooks) Roach where he gained numerous brothers and sisters.
Terry enlisted in the US Army after the tragic events of 9/11 and proudly served in Operation Iraqi Freedom with Charlie Battery 2/142 FA. He worked for the US Postal Service for 23 years. He was a devoted mail carrier, trainer, and from time to time, he supervised.
Anyone who knew Terry knew he was a diehard Cowboys fan. He loved fishing, hiking, traveling, camping, and above all else, he loved spending time and making memories with family and friends. Terry also spent countless hours learning, training, and teaching the art of kajukenbo where he earned a fourth-degree black belt. He was a natural problem solver and loved working with his hands. He could fix anything. He was a loving father, husband, son, Uncle T, Uncle Pancake, and friend.
He is preceded in death by his birth mother, Beulah Brooks; maternal grandparents, Lester and Gladys Brooks; paternal grandparents, Wesley and Della Roach; and his aunt, Melba "Nanny" Strachan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shona Roach; three sons, Justin Roach, Dane Roach, and Tyler Stivers; his daughter, Ashlyn Stivers; his parents, Wesley "Delbert" and Shirley Roach; six brothers, Sam Roach (Nora), Bobby Roach, Josh Roach (Candace), Brent Roach (Wendy), Joseph Roach, and Legacy Roach (Amanda); five sisters, Danette Ratliff, Elizabeth Barger (Michael), Tyna Crabtree (Jimmy), Tiffany Roach (Steven) and Cheyenne Roach (JT); along with a host of family and friends who all love him and will miss him dearly.
Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 13th, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. with the visitation held one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date at Butler Cemetery in Alexander, Arkansas. Bro. Paul Goodman will be officiating.Family speakers, Shane Thornton and Colby Ratliff.
