IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas Lester
Griffin
December 12, 1962 – January 7, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Les, a beloved husband, uncle, brother, and friend, who went to be with the Lord on Tuesday at the age of 62. Les passed peacefully surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and a life lived fully.
Born on December 12, 1962 in Camden, Arkansas. Les grew up with a love for cars. He married Lesia on March 14, 1985, and together they built a home filled with laughter, warmth, and unwavering faith.
Les was a man of many passions, but his love for trucks and cars stood out to all who knew him. Every vehicle he owned had to be "Lesterized" — a process of decking it out just the way he liked. Whether it was customizing the wheels, adding gadgets, or simply making each ride uniquely his, Les took great pride in his creations. His vehicles weren't just modes of transportation; they were reflections of his personality.
Les is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lesia Griffin; his mother, Peggy Griffin; and many other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his father, George Thomas Griffin, and his sister, Teresa Griffin.
Though we mourn his passing, we rejoice in knowing that Les is now in the presence of our Lord, living in eternal glory. As John 14: 2-3 reminds us, "My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."
A celebration of Les's life will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. with visitation one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring his memory and celebrating a life well-lived. Funeral procession will follow at Pine Crest Memorial Park.
