Troy Lee Hendrix, aged 30, of Alexander, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026. Born on May 11, 1996, Troy will be remembered for his infectious laughter, playful personality, love for his family, and the joy he brought to those around him.
Troy was a devoted husband, loving father, and a man whose faith in Jesus was an important part of his life. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved laughing, joking, singing, and dancing. He enjoyed motocross, hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers, and spending time outdoors. Whether he was sitting outside enjoying the day or talking on the phone with someone he cared about, Troy found happiness in life’s simple moments and in staying connected with others.
During his motocross days, Troy was known by the nickname “Cowboy Troy,” a fitting reflection of his adventurous spirit. He had a caring heart and was known for checking on the people he loved. His ability to make others laugh and his genuine concern for those around him were special qualities that made him unforgettable.
One of Troy’s greatest accomplishments was celebrating five years of sobriety on March 2nd. This milestone represented a meaningful chapter in his life and reflected his strength, perseverance, and commitment to his journey. His life reminds us that every step forward matters and that there is beauty in growth, change, and second chances.
Above all else, Troy’s greatest joy was being a dad. His children were a precious part of his life, and the love he had for them was among his most treasured gifts. Though his time with them was far too short, the memories they shared and the love he gave them will remain in their hearts forever.
Troy leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Stephanie Hendrix; his children, Lilly, Beau, and Charles T-Wayne Hendrix; his mother, Brandy Jones (Tim); his brother, Chanlier Jackson; sister, Alivia Jones; his grandparents, Glenda Nix and Pete Nix; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Wayne Hassell, and his grandparents, Cora and Bill Brady.
Troy’s life was filled with moments of laughter, love, challenges overcome, and memories that will never be forgotten. Though his earthly journey has ended, his spirit will live on through his children, his family, and everyone whose life he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at noon.
