Troy Oren Jeffcoat, 80, of Bryant departed his life on Thursday, September 25, 2008. Troy was born in Prescott, Arkansas on February 21, 1928 to the late Othar and Octavene Brown Jeffcoat. He lived in Little Rock working for his father at his service station , he then met and married Vivian Gohlke and went to work as a policeman for the city of Little Rock. They had Lanette Jeffcoat Bailey. After they divorced he went to work for the City of Hazen as its Chief of Police. Troy met Charlene Thweatt and they married and lived in Hazen until Charlene's death in 2007.

Troy is preceded in death by his parents, sister, son in law, Larry Bailey and his loving wife Charlene. He leaves behind his daughter, Lanette Bailey (Larry); his grandson, Chris and his wife, Tonya; great grandson, Austin; three stepdaughters, Rita Grumbles (Tom), Angie Niebling (Walter) and Maysie Allmond (Kenneth); seven step grandchildren, Andy (Charlotte) Grumbles, Rebecca (Kenneth) Barnard, Robin Grumbles, Courtney (Michael) Barrett, Ryan Allmond, Stacy Neibling, Brett Neibling and five great step grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew and Jackson Barnard, Drew and Hunter Grumbles.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2008 from 6 – 8 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North Bryant 501-847-9099.
