Vada Joyce LeQuieu 68 of Benton went home to be with the Lord and Savior on February 15, 2010. She was born on March 14, 1941 to the late Oliver and Helen Hart in Bauxite, Arkansas. Joyce was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper at the family business as well as other companies. Joyce was a loving mother and grandmother who thought of her grandchildren and great grandchildren constantly and was loved by all of us and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Steve LeQuieu. Joyce leaves to cherish her memories; her daughter, Jennifer Huckaby; two sons, Tim and Jeff (Rhonda) Huckaby; two step sons, Laramie (Kathy) and Brandon (Ginger) LeQuieu; mother in law, Martha Jean LeQuieu; nine grandchildren, Shane Huckaby, Chrissy Johnson, Lindsey Huckaby, Ashley Huckaby, Lorie Johnson, Taylor Huckaby, Jacob Nolan, Megan Nolan and Kendal LeQuieu; two great grandchildren, Hayden and Jaylynde Johnson; brother, Rick Hart; sister, Phyllis Minner; two brother in laws, Brad and Bill LeQuieu; sister in law, Beverly Harlow; two aunts, Polly Schrader and Inez Hart and a host of church family and friends who will all miss her dearly. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North Bryant 501-847-9099. A celebration of Joyce's life will be held on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in Benton. Burial will follow at Sharon Missionary Cemetery.
