Vanessa Darlene Beck

Vanessa Darlene Beck, 65, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2025, surrounded by love and safely in the comfort of her home. She was born on October 31, 1959, in Benton, Arkansas, to Carl Larenzo Burget and Betty Lea (Jeffcoat) Baldridge.

Vanessa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose love and care touched everyone around her. She spent her life nurturing her family and always put others first. Vanessa's heart was as big as her smile. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in the company of her friends and family.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of many years, Doug Beck; her sons Wayne Brown (Kandy), Jerry Brown (Sarah), Amber Hoppe, and Ericka Gentry (Tony). Vanessa's grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply, include Colton Brown (Ashley), Alexis Shipe, Keiona Gaytan, Dawson Brown, Jonathan McBride, Logan Brown, Brayden Shipe, Tristin McBride (Kayden), Madison Brown, Chloe Brown, Bryan Wesley Cook, Liliana Hoppe, Adalyn Brown, Jeremy Gentry, and Wade Gentry. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren: Kinsley McBride, Averie Brown, and Everly Brown.

Vanessa is survived by her brothers Dennis Burget (Liz) and Tony Burget (Veronica), her mother-in-law Pam Beck, and brother-in-law Wesley Beck. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Larenzo Burget and Betty Lea (Jeffcoat) Baldridge, stepfather Billy Dean Baldridge, brothers William Burget and Jimmy Burget, and grandson Aiden Brown.

Vanessa's love for her family and her unwavering strength in the face of challenges will be remembered and cherished forever. She was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to live on in her children, grandchildren, and all the lives she touched.

Her visitation will be held on Thursday evening, January 23rd, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and her Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 24th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Scott Cemetery following her celebration of life.
