Vera L. Page Knight passed away on April 26, 2011 with her family by her side. She was born on October 13, 1953 to the late, Jake and Mary Page in Little Rock, Arkansas. Vera retired from the Pulaski County Sherriff's Department after 20 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandbabies, she also loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. She was a member of Mars Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Knight is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Knight; parents, Mary and John Bratton; two sisters, Darlene Allen and Judy Dorsette.
Vera is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Burks (Chris); two sons, Larry Tyree II (Julie) and Donovan Tyree; first husband, Larry Tyree SR.; five grandchildren, Nicole, Nicholas, Victoria, Dominque and Wyatt; one sister, Diane Cooper (Lafe); two brothers, Harlan and Hoyt Page; brother-in-law, David Allen and many other family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
