Vera Darlene Smith, age 72 of Little Rock, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017. She was born on April 3, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late, Willie and Fannie Yarberry. Darlene was a good Christian woman who loved taking care of her children and loved everyone around her. She enjoyed spending time and going out to eat with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Edward Yarberry; her daughter, Sherry Smith and her son, Terry Allen Smith.
She is survived by her four daughters; Teresa Clay (Jeffery), Carolyn Vaughn (Jimmy), Lisa Curran, and Cynthia Garza (Lee); twenty grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren; three sisters, Lucille, JoNell, and Ann; three brothers, Roy, Charlie, and Clifford and a host of family and friends.
Celebration of life will be held at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 2:00 P.M with visitation one hour prior to the service.
