Obituary
Vernon C. Huckabee age 86, of Bryant, went quietly to be with his Lord on Sunday, March 8, 2009, in his home, with his family by his side.
Vernon was born on December 12, 1922 in Bodcaw, Arkansas to his parents, Robert and Ora Belle Huckabee.
Mr. Huckabee is survived by his wife, of 62 years, Aradeen Huckabee, his daughter, Pat Fender of Bryant and his son, Vernon C. Huckabee, Jr. of Alabama, a sister, Dixie and a brother Charles.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services for Mr. Huckabee will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home, 4212 Hwy 5 North, Bryant, Arkansas (501) 847-9099
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
