Vernon Lee McGhee, 75, of Donaldson, Arkansas passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019. He was born to James and Mary (Horton) Carpenter on Wednesday, August 18, 1943 in England, Arkansas. He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, and keeping up with politics. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He absolutely adored his grandbabies. He proudly served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie McGhee; parents; brother, Red Standridge.

Remaining to share memories are his three sons, Randy McGhee (Melanie), Bubba McGhee, and Stevie McGhee (Deanne); eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends and who love and miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with the visitation the day prior from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
