Virginia "Polly" Ray 68 of Benton, passed away on November 16, 2009. Polly was born on March 19, 1941 to the late Arthur and Virginia Basile in Torrance, California. Polly was a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church. She was very involved with the XYZ club at her church. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Polly is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Charles Ray; daughter, Kathy Robbins (Keith); son Chuck Ray (Tonia); sister, Kristina Barker (Tim); brother, Art Basile (Debbie); four grandchildren, Kyle Robbins, Chad, Jordan and Jess Ray and many other family, friends and church family who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Indian Springs Baptist Church. The family will receive family and friends at Mr. Ray's home on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 from 5:00- 7:00 PM. Arrangements provided by Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North Bryant.
