Virginia E. Scarberry, 77, of Hensley, AR went to her Heavenly home on December 25, 2025, receiving complete healing and being free of pain. What a day to meet Jesus that was.

She was born November 4, 1948, in Little Rock, AR to the late Agnes and Vernon Pinson Sr. She was raised in a large family, all of whom she loved fiercely. As an adult, most of her life was spent raising her kids and enjoying time with grandkids, though she was also proud of her years spent working at a nursing home and daycare. She enjoyed playing cards with family, word searches, and reading Amish books.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jesse Joe Sr., who was the love of her life. She will be greatly missed by her three sons, Joe Jr. (Anja), Bobby (Louise), and Johnny Sr. (Pam) Scarberry; her 9 grandchildren, BJ (Savannah), Brooke (Zack), Brittany (Terry), Brandon (Chelsie), Kevin (Kayla), Johnny Jr. (Kristal), Shelby (Brodie), Steven, and Trent; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and siblings Hazel (Billy) Kelley, Lela Davidson, Beverly (Eddie) McCall, Angel (Steve) Overstreet, and Vernon Pinson Jr (Twila).

She is preceded in death by two sisters, Mattie Copeland and Linda Price; one brother, James Pinson; and her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Scarberry.

Her family will remember her for many things, from being a mighty prayer warrior, her random phone calls to catch up, and how she would light up at every visit or call from her family, often greeting her grandbabies with, "There's mime and Pepaw's Honey." My, how she loved her family and friends.

Pallbearers are her grandsons BJ, Brandon, Kevin, Johnny Jr., Steven, and Trent Scarberry, Terry Gore, and Zack Earley.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 12:00 P.M with visitation one hour prior at Dial and Dudley funeral home.

Her final resting place will be at Kennerly Cemetery in Roland, AR.
