Walter Ray Darnell Sr., 73, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021. He was born to the late, Daniel and Dorthea Darnell on Wednesday, December 3, 1947, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved going to deer camp. He loved hunting, fishing, and archery, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by two loving children, Cindy Butler (Pete) and Ray Darnell (Kimberly); mother of his children, Linda Darnell; two grandchildren, Jessie and Jameson; sister, Carolyn Carpenter; best friends, Sandy Thomas, Ed Smith, and Jimmy Manley; a beloved cat, Minnie; along with a host of other family and friends who all love and will miss him dearly.

The family will be holding a private service at a later date.
