Wendy Renee Mitchell, 53, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, September 27th, 2018. She was born to Raymond and Rebecca Wentzel on Tuesday, July 27th, 1965 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a very caring person and generous with her time and money. She loved helping people. She enjoyed going to the lake, boating, and camping. She loved being with her family. She loved gardening, and took great pride in her beautiful yard. She graduated high school in Hilliard, Ohio, and then attended college at Ohio State University. She finished her college experience at UALR in Little Rock, Arkansas with her Bachelors in Biology and Chemistry and her Minor in Child Psychology. Wendy enjoyed her work as an Associate Engineer at Entergy for over 20 years where her coworkers were like a second family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Wentzel, and two grandchildren, Evvy Mae and Jett Blaine Minchew.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tim Mitchell; children, Barry Lynn Henderson, Jr. (Kelsey), Jacob Mitchell, Kelsey Minchew (Garrett), and Tara Mitchell; two grandchildren, Raymond and McKenna Henderson; mother, Rebecca Wentzel; sister, Andrea Wentzel; nephew, John Wentzel; along with other family and friends who love and miss her dearly.

The celebration of life will be held at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home on Monday, October 1st, 2018 at 2:00PM.
