William "Bill" Edward Duncan, 68, of Bryant passed away on Wednesday, December 02, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on February 5, 1941 to Vernon and Lena Duncan in Jellico, Tennessee. Bill enjoyed playing golf and watching his grandson play baseball. He is a retired salesman from the food industry. He was the only salesman to win Affiliated Foods Salesman of the Year twice. Bill is preceded in death by his father, Vernon Harold Duncan. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruby Duncan; mother, Lena Duncan of Lake Wales, Florida; daughter, Robin Bruce (Wendell) of Texarkana, Arkansas; son, William (Chuck) Duncan of Jacksonville, Arkansas; beloved grandson, Duncan Robbins of Texarkana, Arkansas; two brothers, Jerry Duncan (Linda) of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee and Rick Duncan (Maryanne) of North Royalton, Ohio and many other family and friends who all loved and will miss him dearly. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2009 from 5 – 7 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North, Bryant 501-847-9099. Memorial service will be Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cure Pancreatic Cancer "The Lustgarten Foundation 1111 Stewart Avenue Bethpage, NY 11714.
