William Robert Reaves, 66, of Bryant, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 28th, 2012, with his family by his side. He was born on March 9th, 1946 to the late William and Roxie Reaves, in Ferda, Arkansas. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing and camping. He was a song writer and played the upright bass. Robert was a member of Lighthouse Church of Benton. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Roger Dale Sims; two nephews, Darrell Cullipher and Jon Jon Higgins and a very special friend, Pearl Fields.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Kathy Reaves; eight children, Regina Reaves (Jimmy), Robin Reaves Ortega (Bo jay), Robert Reaves Jr. (Bridget), Renee' Pelton (Stacey), Rhonda Westmoreland (Chad), Danny Turner, Cheryl Hopkins (Justin) and Casey Reaves; one that he loved like a son, Winford Lee Reaves Jr. (April); twenty one grandchildren; five great grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Winford L. Reaves (Marcella), Laura Nelson, Barbara Montgomery, Wanda Sims, Linda Garcia, Larry Reaves and Bobby J. Forrester (Joyce) and a host of nieces and nephews who all loved him and will miss him dearly and a multitude of friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Lighthouse Church of Benton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
