William Oneal Simpson, Jr., was born on Saturday, February 2, 1974, to Oneal and Irene Simpson. He passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 5, 2024. William was a beloved son, brother, and friend who touch the lives of many with his kindness and generosity. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, his love for his family, and his unwavering dedication to those he cared about. William's sudden departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

William is survived by his beloved parents, Oneal and Irene Simpson. He will be forever remembered by his siblings: his sister, Jackie LaChance and her husband, Jason, and his brother, Jason Simpson; his niece, Briley Heinz; nephew, Darin Carper and his wife, Alexis, along with their son, Wyatt, William's great-nephew.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

William is preceded in death by his grandparents, Manville Jack Allen and Carol Jean Allen "Goose," and Willie Roe Simpson and Juanita Simpson.

William was born at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas and grew up in Alexander, Arkansas. He graduated from Bauxite High School. At the time of his passing, he was working at O'Reilly Auto Parts as a delivery driver. Before that, he worked at Union Pacific Railroad, which was his dream job. William had always loved trains from the time he was a little boy. He also had a passion for fast cars, drag racing, Ford Mustangs, and he loved watching the Razorbacks play. William's interest and passions brought joy to his life and to those around him.

His celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. with a family visitation one hour prior at New Life Baptist Church: 10765 Samples Road, Alexander, Arkansas 72002.
