Willie Roe Simpson 87 of Tull passed away on July 6, 2012 with his family by his side. Roe was born on April 3, 1925 to the late, Robert and Bessie Simpson in McRae, Arkansas. He enjoyed fox and deer hunting, fishing and going dancing. Roe retired after many years from Kruse Meat Market.
Roe is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 46 years, Jaunita Simpson; one grandson, Robert Wayne Simpson Jr.; one granddaughter, Erin Michelle Merritt; two sisters and two brothers.
He is survived by six sons, James Simpson (Jo Anna), Oneal Simpson (Irene), Robert Simpson, Billy Simpson (Nancy), Ronnie Simpson (Judy) and Terry Simpson (Brenda); ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; three sisters, Jeraldine, Betty Kate and Dixie and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Roe's life will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
