Wilson "Sonny" Odell Gibbons, 78, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. He was born on Monday, July 5, 1943, to the late, Wilson and Dimple Gibbons on White Farm near Bigelow, Arkansas. He enjoyed riding horses, raising his chickens, farming, and driving his truck. He loved spending time at family gatherings and eating good food.

He is preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Wayne Myers; previous wife, Pamela Gibbons; and his son, Phillip Gibbons.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Peggy Gibbons; sister, Ann Ladd; two brothers, Cleo Gibbons and David Emmerton; daughter, Cheron Burton; grandkids, Holly Burton, Sydney Burton, and Alex Burton; great grandkids, TJ Miller and Bryleigh Miller;  niece, Sertha along with a host of friends and other family who love and will miss him dearly.

Pallbearers are Cleo Jr., Richard Gibbons, Shane Gibbons, Bo Myers, Phillip Ladd, and Owen Ladd.

Honorary Pallbearers are Alex Burton and TJ Miller.

Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 12:00 P.M. with the visitation one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
