Hazel Arlene Smith, 82 of Benton, passed away April 1, 2016. She was born February 14, 1934 in Tyler Town, Mississippi to A. O. Holmes and Hazel Lambert Holmes.
She was very talented in playing the piano, organ and loved singing. She was an avid snow skier and loved the outdoors and traveling. Smittie worked as a Nurse until 1995 then she took a leap of faith and was the co-owner and founder of Rhoades and Smith Financial Services.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survived by her two daughters; Catherine Coffman (Terry) and Candy Smith; son, Calvin W. Smith Jr. (Lisa); four grandchildren; sister, Juanita Beall; best friend and financial business partner; Linda K. Rhoades and a host of family and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
A celebration of life will be Monday, April 4, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant with Pastor Silas Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
