Ted Archibald 70 of Benton, passed away on October 8, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born on July 11, 1946 to the late, James and Beulah Archibald in Tucker, Arkansas. Ted worked for Affiliated Foods for 35 years. He was retired and loved driving his SSR truck with the top down. Ted was a man of few words, but was known as a man with a dry sense of humor and everyone loved him. He loved his family and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Ted is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Phyllis and Jimmie Archibald.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Rita Archibald; son, Mike Archibald; daughters, Karen Morehead (Rod) and Rachel Standridge (Doug); six grandchildren, Nicki, Tye, Megan, Dallas, Rodney and Abby; three sisters, Jo Ann (Sandy) Jenkins, Becky (Thomas) Martin and Debbie (Steve) McElroy and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
